This page provides help you complete the 'Push notifications' section of the Application Request form.

To enable push notifications in your app, from Push Notifications screen on the build form click settings

From the new Settings page, select the Push Notification solution you want to use:

Note: Parse is a free solution. Urban Airship will charge, depending on your package. Please refer to the website for pricing information.

Pre-requisites

If you want your app to be enabled for push notifications (without Newsstand) you must choose one of the following Push Notification solutions:

Parse
Urban Airship

1. Setup a Parse account & Application
2. Enable your app for Apple push notifications - Parse
3. In the App Studio Portal complete the App Studio Settings Push Notifications form for Parse (see image below).
4. Send a push notification
